What I did like was that the portion for a half size was bigger than I was expecting.  The pork rib was also decent cuts of the rib, with very little fat, and not much in cartilage.  The meat could have easily been dry and tough, but it was somewhat tender (yes, I'm stretching for positive things to say about this dish).  Oh, there was also little or no breading, definitely a good thing in my books.

What I didn't like was that the sauce for this dish was quite thick and heavy.  Being made mainly from black vinegar, it's got a pretty strong taste when you have it, which overwhelms any other flavors from the dish.  Yes, I can also taste the sweetness, but all I can recall is taking a bite, and thinking, where's my tea?  The sauce also being quite thick also made it cling to the pork, so you were pretty much stuck to eating this dish with a healthy dose of the stuff.  Not pleasant.  If you ever do decide to order this, do yourself a favor and order a side of rice or noodles to go along with it.

Note:  This side dish was served hot and it looks nothing like the photo they have posted on their wall.
