What I did like was that the chicken steak is free of sauce!  Too often I find meats drenched in sauce, onion sauce, black pepper sauce, you name it!  If you want to enjoy the chicken skin while it's crispy, you can at Wing's Catering!  The chicken is grilled very simply, so it tastes (surprise surprise) like chicken.  You can load up on the minced green onion/ginger/oil (薑蓉) or pickled mustard vegetable (搾菜) as much as you want.  Next the lotus root patties are a decent size and are freshly made so everything is burn-your-lips hot when you get it.  And you get two patties!  At HK$41 (includes a drink), you really won't find many deals better than this for the amount of meat you get.

What I didn't like was that the dish doesn't come with much in the form of vegetables.  Yeah, they throw in some cabbage and maybe a few piece of jade melon, but I gotta have my greens!  The few veggies they do include are mushy and lifeless, which really is just the opposite of the rest of the dish.  Thankfully they taste ok, so it's not a complete loss.  Lastly, the (English) menu says the patties have octopus in them, but I definitely couldn't taste or find any octopus in them...

Note:  This dish comes as a set with a drink and it doesn't cost extra for a cold drink.
